What qualifies here?

[edit]

Is a page for the company necessary for inclusion on this list?

Except for Prusa Research and perhaps Ultimaker, this list is lacking every single 3D printer manufacturer that might be viable for hobby users. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Towe96 (talkcontribs) 13:32, 29 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It is my understanding that there needs to be a Wiki page for the company at a minimum. If you've got some companies in mind, let's see if they have a page. Not Wilkins (talk) 14:25, 29 March 2019 (UTC)NotWilkins[reply]

Partly done: I've added the applicable ones. Half of these do not manufacture the 3D printers according to our articles on them (e.g. 3YOURMIND and AstroPrint are software companies, Arcam manufactures electron beam melting systems, Limbitless Solutions uses 3D printing to manufacture prosthetics, Magicfirm Europe is a redirect, Objet Geometries has merged with Stratasys, and Threeding and 3DLT are/were online marketplaces.) 3D Printer Companies entry needs to include Bambu Lab. Here is their website: https://bambulab.com/

Their location?

When you can buy a product at major retailers, IMO that makes the manufacturer notable enough to be worth listing, even if nobody has written them a Wikipedia page yet. Among the companies y'all find insufficiently notable are Bambu and Elegoo, who are major manufacturers of 3D printers. I don't have the time to research and write pages for either company, but they should be on this list. Worldwalker (talk) 03:47, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
